Sidhbaba: This place is named after the holy temple of sidhbaba(god of indian worship). From this place you can have a wonderful view of the magnificent tiger, sambhar, chital, painted stroke and sometimes wildboars.
Charkadhara: This is a large are of meadow inside the park. This area is popular for the tiger sighting. If you travel to this place during the summer you can see that it looks like an open hunting ground for the vicious predators.
Gopalpur: This region lies at the north eastern side of the Bandhavgarh National Park. The area is rather marshy and is filled with river water almost all the time. You are likely to find a wide range of plants and mammals at this region. Bird watchers too can have a wonderful time at this area.
Bari Gufa: This is a cave which is considered as one of the biggest caves in the Bandhavgarh national park. According to the history the cave dates back to the 10th century. The cave was constructed out of a solid rock of sandstone.
Ketkiha: This is wet region inside the Bandhavgarh National Park. You will find a wide variety of aromatic plants in this region. One of the famous plant is the "Pendanus", because of which the place is also known as pendanus point.
Three Cave Pont: This point id beautifully visible from the Ganesh hillock road. A visit to this place will reflect the caliber of architecture during an era long gone.
The Photographer's Point: You can visit this point on your way back from the Route B. As the mane suggest the point is at a mountain top which gives a mesmerizing panoramic view of the Bandhavgarh Wildlife Sanctuary.
Andheri Jhiria: This is the hot spot where the Tigers spend their time during the summers. The area is covered with the shadowy trees that make the area quite cool and pleasant. Moreover there is also a spring water source from where the water comes out through out the year.
Charger's Place: Charger was a dominant male tiger in Bandhavgarh who once ruled the jungle for over a decade. This was the place where he rested. Charger died in the year 2000.
Best Time to Visit
The best time to visit Bandhavgarh National Park depends on the purpose of your visit. If you are interested in migratory bird watching in green surrounding of forest, perennials then from October to January months will be more suitable.
However if you want a proper view of the mighty Tiger you should visit the park during January – February - March months. During this time temperature will remain below 25 degree Celsius which makes the weather quite pleasant. And is the right time to watch the tigers at their best
