The Khuda Baksh Oriental Library is located near the bank of river Ganga in Patna. The Khuda Baksh Oriental Library is one of the oldest libraries in India with a collection of about 21000 oriental manuscripts and 2.5 lakh printed books. It was inaugurated in 1891 by the Maulavi Khuda Baksh Khan. In the year 1969, this library was acknowledged as an institute of national value.
